Background
Lucin joined
the Firm in early 2007 as a Solicitor in our Litigation
Team working alongside Andrew Laurenson and Lauren
Wallace. He is involved in all areas of litigation but
with a focus on both criminal and employment law.
Lucin’s work requires
him to regularly appear in the local Courts for parties faced with
everything from drink driving and work licences to company
liquidations. He is quickly developing his skills in employment
law and can help with everything from drafting contracts to
advising on disciplinary procedures and unfair dismissals. Lucin
also has an interest in the law surrounding the construction
industry and is often called on to assist clients with disputes
under the Construction Contracts Act 2002.
Although not a local to New
Plymouth, Lucin is making the most of all that the area has to
offer, especially being able to live so close to the sea. Lucin’s
interests include diving, outdoors and keeping fit. Before taking
up his current position with Govett Quilliam he completed a law
degree at Victoria University of Wellington in 2006. |
