Ross became a partner of in Govett Quilliam in 1978. He leads one of our commercial teams.

Ross has developed particular skills in franchising, intellectual property law, immigration, finance, innovation and problem solving for many individuals and businesses. Ross has wide experience in all commercial matters and is involved in professional indemnity insurance matters.
Ross offers extensive experience as a lawyer and supports a large and notable client base. He keenly promotes all types of business, particularly utilising e-commerce and the tools on the internet to enhance legal outcomes.
Outside of Govett Quilliam
Ross is a trustee of the iTaranaki Charitable Trust and is the lawyer for a number of community groups and sports clubs.
Personal Interests
Away from work Ross enjoys beekeeping and golf. Under instruction from his wife, he also enjoys maintaining their organic spray free orchard called “Avojoa” on Surf Highway 45, Oakura.
