Stu Barraclough
Stu was raised in the Manawatu region and spent more than a decade in Wellington before moving to New Plymouth. Stu joined Govett Quilliam in 2009 and specialises in commercial law.
Expertise
Stu has particular expertise in commercial law, including statutory compliance, business structures and buying and selling of businesses. Stu has a background in accountancy which means he has an excellent understanding of both legal and financial aspects of commercial transactions. Stu also has specialist expertise in relation to commercial leases and forestry/ETS issues.
Prior to university, Stu spent ten years in the produce industry, firstly in retail then as a sales and procurement specialist for Turners & Growers.

Stu enjoys walking, going to the gym and getting to know New Plymouth.
